Learn from your mistakes. Study great thinkers and get trusted council. Don't be bigger than therapy, but also be brave enough to venture out on your own. Therapy can become a crutch if you let it. 

A perfect life is not worth living. Making mistakes is the only place to truly learn. 

If there is any part of me that is wise; it is because I have learned from the mistakes of being stupid. 

If there is any part of that is loving; it is because I have learned from the mistakes of being hateful. 

If there is any part of me that is good; it is because I have learned from the mistakes of being selfish.
